Athletics

The sports program is an extension of the VFCA academic program.  It supports VFCA's purpose to provide Christian leaders, Godly men and women, to take the places of authority in the world and in Christ's body of believers by developing their body, mind, and spirit.   Through the VFCA sports program we desire to help your child develop: (1) a strong, healthy body and a lifetime enjoyment of physical activity,  (2)  a strong and healthy self-esteem, self-discipline, and perseverance.  (3) Godly character and leadership qualities that will help them as they take their places of authority.

Our sports program presently offers several opportunities for the students to become involved including:

Soccer (K4-12th), Volleyball (girls | 5th - 12th), Basketball (5th - 12th), TrackSoftballBaseball, and T-ball.

We belong to the Huntsville Independent School League, (H.I.S.L.), for the 3rd -8th grades. We play through the City of Huntsville's recreational league during soccer season, which allows VFCA to extend the sports program to the K3 - 2nd grades.

Our desire is to continue to strengthen and expand the VFCA sports program by offering more sports and extracurricular activities to boys and girls of various ages to complement VFCA's academic curriculum.  You can help us grow by getting involved in the VFCA sports program.  We already have several volunteer coaches who give of their time and talents for your children.  They joyously spend several hours a week teaching and training students in various sports.  They are not professional trainers, but give from their hearts for your children's benefit. Come help us train future leaders for Christ. If you desire to get involved, or have any questions, leave a message with the school office. (533-5248)
